More "catch-up" than John Kerry's cupboard
Hello Dear Readers-
It has been a wild ride and I ended up missing from this blog all weekend...in case you couldn't tell.
Well, Eddie is with me and it's good times. He is currently missing work and helping me and Patrick shoot a movie called "The Fuzz" for a class project. We were only able to shoot one day this weekend, but the stuff we shot looked pretty good.
Sure enough I did go to Oberlin Thrusday night, and sure enough I did see "Coach Carter." In the words of Stan Lee, "'Nuff said."
Eddie and I had fun on the way down to school. We talked for a long time about a new movie idea we came up with involving a puppet Vampirebat King. I can't wait to tell my friend Owen about this idea, who recently told me that he and his brother have been wanting to get into filmmaking, particularly that of the horror genre, particularly films moving towards the use of puppets in film again and away from CGI. Yes.
Oh yeah. Yesterday. Worst news ever:
Eddie and our friend John and I have been planning to purchase and run this vacant movie theater in the Coventry section of Cleveland Heights after I got out of school. The theater has three screens, comes with a liquor license and is simply AMAZING. Well, here's the tragedy. John called the realtor and found out that the theater, which had been closed for some time now, was recently purchased. Right out from under our noses! Dammit. Worst. news. ever. Ah well, life goes on, right Corky?
Yesterday was a classic lazy Sunday. Lounged around, Eddie and I visited my friend Meg, ate food, and watched "What Women Want." Yeah.
Right now I'm storyboarding scenes for tomorrow's shoot with Eddie while I'm at work. Stop by and see me if you're in the area.
